Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe in the salvation of lost and sinful man, by grace, through faith in Christ's atoning death and resurrection.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit who indwells Christians and enables them to live godly lives.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

In addition, we believe:
The highest privilege and responsibility of Christian parents, who will give account to the Lord for its faithful exercise, is the loving instruction of their children in the ways of the Lord.
Nevertheless, we acknowledge our own inability to carry out this responsibility without the help of the Lord.
Education our children in the ways of the Lord requires molding their hearts, and training their minds.
In training our children, as in all other areas of the Christian life, we seek to be transformed by the Word rather than to be conformed to the world and its practices. Recognizing the many areas in which the wisdom of this age departs from Biblical standards for child rearing, we desire to be governed by God's word not only in our individual families but also in our joint work with other Christian parents as part of HEARTH. We reject the temptation to let the low standards of our culture become the rule of our practice.
